Miriam Quigley
M.S., CCC-SLP

Accent Modification Specialist

Hello! I’m Miriam, and I am an ASHA-certified bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist. I’m also a Third Culture Kid (TCK) who grew up in Guatemala, where I spoke English at home and Spanish everywhere else. I have always loved connecting with people from different cultures and backgrounds and hearing their stories. I moved to the U.S. in 2012 for college, where I began my studies in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) at Abilene Christian University and completed my Masters degree in CSD.

My training with bilingual/multilingual language development has been central to my practice, and ever since the start of my career, I have been drawn to accent modification because I enjoy helping others achieve stronger connection through more effective communication. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to be heard and understood! Walking alongside my clients and helping them reach their communication goals is always such an honor. If you have any questions about accent modification sessions or whether they could help you reach your goals, I’m happy to chat any time.

My hobbies include paddle-boarding, dancing, music, trying new foods, and traveling. I’m currently based in Austin, Texas, but have the privilege of being able to work with clients anywhere. Thank you for visiting my website and I hope to have the chance to speak with you soon!
